The type of information we collect about You can vary depending on how you use our services, whether you build Weavio surveys, respond to a Weavio survey or are just visiting our website. In all cases we will collect:

  • Log and Usage Data. Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic usage and performance information our servers automatically collect when you access or use our Services and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type and settings and information about your activity while using our Services (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages and files viewed, searches and other actions you take such as which features you use), device event information and hardware settings.

  • Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your computer, phone, tablet or other device you use to access our Services. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your IP address (or proxy server), device application identification numbers, location, browser type, hardware model Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, operating system configuration information.

If you use Weavio to build surveys, we may also collect account information including information provided upon creating an account (such as email address), billing information and account settings. We may also use some survey related data (such as question wording) to improve our Services, however, we only do so once we aggregate and anonymize or pseudonymize the data.

If you use Weavio to respond to surveys, we may use machine learning on parts or all of your responses to provide survey builders useful and relevant insights. HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver the services and products that You have requested;

  • Manage Your account and provide You with customer support;

  • Enforce our terms and conditions;

  • Improve our software.

Please be aware that when You provide information while using our Services, the information will be sent to servers located within and outside the United States. DO WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES?

A session cookie expires when You close Your application or browser and is used to make it easier for You to navigate our application and website. A persistent cookie remains on Your hard drive for specified period of time or permanently.;

A cookie assists us in providing You with a better user experience by tracking Your online activity on our application and website, such as the screens or web pages You visit, the buttons or links You click, and the searches You conduct. We may use a persistent cookie to assist with providing our services. You may delete cookies however If You do so, some of the features and services of our website may not function properly.

CHANGING YOUR INFORMATION

You can edit and change any of Your personal profile information at any time. Your information may be changed by emailing support@weavio.com and requesting that this action be taken.

REMOVING YOUR INFORMATION

You can delete your personally identifiable information from our active databases at any time. To do so please email support@weavio.com. Upon Your notification, we will remove Your information from our active databases as soon as reasonably possible in accordance with our policy and applicable law. Be aware, personally identifiable information you provided as a respondent to a Weavio survey belongs to whomever administered the survey and is out of Our control.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements).

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security, and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our App is at your own risk. You should only access the App within a secure environment.

NOTE ABOUT CHILDREN

Children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union) are required to get parental approval before using our application or website. Furthermore, children are not permitted to disclose personal information on the site. Should a child disclose information to the site, upon proper notification by and identification of the child’s parent, We will disclose to the parent any personal information collected.
